Protein Birthday Lemon Cake

Nutrition per serving: 353 calories; 25g of protein; 17g of carbohydrates; 22 g of fat.


Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops of Orgain Protein Powder (2 for the cake preparation and 2 for filling/topping). I used Vanilla Flavor

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup of Orgain Almond Milk Unsweetened

  • 1 scoop of Monk Fruit or sweetener of your choice

  • 4 tbs of Lemon Juice (2 for the batter and 2 for filling/topping)

  • 1 can of Nestle Table Cream (for filling and topping)

  • 1tsp of baking powder


Instructions for the batter:

  1. Add the wet ingredients first (eggs and milk)

  2. Add 2 scoops of Orgain Protein Powder.

  3. Add 2 spoons of lemon juice of your choice.

  4. Add the sweetener and combine well the ingredients.

  5. Bake it at 350 F degrees in two separate pans (with parchment paper) for 20 minutes or until golden brown


Instructions for the filling and topping:

  1. Combine the Table Cream with 2 tbs juice

  2. Add 2 tbs of sweetener (your choice)


Adding Filling and topping:

  1. Wait for the cakes to cool off and take them off the pans

  2. Place 1 cake on a plate and cover with the mixture of table cream, protein powder and lemon juce

  3. Place the other cake over the first one

  4. Cover with the remaining mixture of table cream. Sprinkle some sprinkles and enjoy!
